Do you fight for it?

In the Bible, in the book of Jude, it says, “Contend for the faith.” Contend is a word you don’t often hear or see anymore. Contend means to fight through the struggle, when it’s difficult, to overcome whatever obstacle. The fight to achieve the prize when the journey becomes tough. Let me ask you this question. Do you contend? Do you stand up and fight when it gets hard?

We’ve all been there. Whether it's in life or in a tournament, there comes that moment when we realize the battle ahead to succeed is going to take everything we have. You think about giving up. So what do you do? Do you pack it in or do you tell yourself, “Game on!”? Let me answer this question for you. You have to step up your game and contend! The reward is worth the battle!

My hope and prayer is that we all choose to contend when the challenge seems insurmountable, that we give it all we have, and that we win the battle before us!

You are loved.
